Long Term Futures are supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in CV6, Holbrooks who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal child with Autism in Year 1, working predominantly at an EYFS curriculum. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity for someone who is confident with personal care, sensory needs and communication support. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team to deliver consistent, nurturing support throughout the school day. The Role You will provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism who is non-verbal and requires help with communication, emotional regulation and personal care. Although based in a Year 1 class, the pupil is working at an EYFS stage, so learning is delivered through structured play, routine-based learning and communication-focused activities.
