1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Integra Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in a secondary school in Bolton.
This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with strong SEN experience, who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and adapting learning to help them achieve their full potential.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s EHCP outcomes
* Support the pupil with day to day tasks, breaking learning down into manageable steps and supporting the pupil throughout the whole day
* Promote positive behaviour and support emotional regulation where required
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement agreed strategies
* Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to the wider school team
* Adapt learning activities to reflect the pupil’s interests, strengths, and motivations
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous SEN experience (essential), ideally supporting pupils with EHCPs
* Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or CACHE Level 3)
* A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
