We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. This is a full-time role supporting a pupil who requires additional support to thrive in the classroom.

The Role:

* Providing tailored 1:1 support to a student with additional learning needs.

* Assisting with both academic work and social development.

* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement learning strategies.

* Encouraging independence and building the student’s confidence in a supportive way.

* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

* Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN or 1:1 support role.

* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.

* The ability to follow individual learning plans and adapt when necessary.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
