The Role - 1:1 Behaviour Mentor

As a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting a pupil with challenging behaviour on a full-time basis. The pupil requires consistent support throughout the school day to help with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning.You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement strategies that support the pupil's development and wellbeing. The role will involve building a strong, trusting relationship, maintaining clear routines, and using positive behaviour and de-escalation strategies to support the pupil in accessing the curriculum.The ideal candidate will be calm, resilient, and proactive, with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain consistent in challenging situations.
