The Role Year 6 Teacher As a Year 6 Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the Primary Curriculum, with a strong focus on preparing pupils for Year 6 SATs.
Build a purposeful, calm and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel confident and supported.
Use assessment effectively to track progress, identify gaps and drive attainment.
Provide targeted interventions to ensure all learners reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parallel class teachers and the senior leadership team.
Support pupils with their transition to secondary school, both academically and pastorally.
Contribute to wider school life, including enrichment activities, trips and whole-school events.
