The school are looking for an experienced Year 6 teacher to join them after Easter and remain until the end of the academic year.

This is a full-time role with full teaching responsibilities, though part-time may be considered for the right candidate.

Your new role Delivering well-planned, focused lessons that prepare pupils for end-of-Key-Stage assessments and their transition to secondary school.

Working closely with the Year 6 team to ensure consistency in planning, assessment and intervention.

Providing targeted support to pupils who may need additional guidance to achieve their potential.

Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate assessment records and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

Contributing to the wider school community and modelling professionalism and high expectations.

What you'll need to succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.

Strong behaviour management and the ability to motivate pupils during a crucial stage of their education.

Secure curriculum knowledge and confidence delivering high-quality teaching.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
