Milk Education is working closely with a friendly primary school in the Cramlington area of Northumberland to recruit a committed Year 4 Teacher. This school provides a supportive setting where children are encouraged to grow in confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
The Role
Hours: 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: January ASAP
Contract: Long-term position
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Track pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Manage classroom behaviour with consistency and care
Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupil outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS
Secure knowledge of the Primary Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 2
Strong communication skills and effective classroom management
A flexible and reflective approach to teaching
A clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
