The school are looking for a motivated Year 3 teacher to join them after Easter until the end of the summer term. This is a full-time position with full teaching responsibilities, though part-time may be considered. Your new role Delivering well-structured, engaging lessons that support pupils' transition into Key Stage 2 learning. Working collaboratively with the Year 3 team to ensure consistency in planning, assessment and curriculum delivery. Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support or challenge. Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate assessment records and providing constructive feedback. Contributing to the wider life of the school and demonstrating a commitment to its inclusive ethos.
What you'll need to succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in primary settings, ideally within lower Key Stage 2. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils. Secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, purposeful teaching. Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
