Academics are working with primary schools across Chester who are seeking a skilled Year 2 Teacher to support pupils as they prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2. These roles often begin on supply and lead into long-term education and training positions.

This opportunity is ideal for a Year 2 Teacher who is confident delivering the KS1 curriculum and is open to supply teaching as a route into a long-term education and training role.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher in Chester, you will:

Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Support pupils in preparation for end-of-key-stage expectations
Track and assess pupil progress effectively
Maintain strong classroom routines and behaviour expectations

Holds QTS
Has recent KS1 teaching experience
Is confident with assessment and pupil progress tracking
