£140-£180 Are you a motivated and committed Teacher looking for a rewarding short-term role? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their friendly, supportive team to cover maternity leave from May until July 2026.

About the Role

What You’ll be Doing:
Teaching a Year 2 class within a nurturing, inclusive environment
Delivering RWI Phonics as part of the school’s established phonics programme
Taking responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing across all subjects in the year group
To Thrive in This Role You Will Be:
Experienced in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2 Confident delivering Read Write Inc. phonics
Skilled in planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
Committed to raising standards and developing independent, motivated learners
Able to integrate quickly into a supportive and collaborative team
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching in KS1 in UK primary schools
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
