An established and fast-paced engineering/manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead, motivate and drive performance within a busy production environment. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in delivering high-quality output safely, efficiently and on time.
To be successful, you will come from a similar manufacturing, automotive, engineering or remanufacturing environment and will have proven experience managing teams of 15+ staff.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage and motivate a team of technicians to deliver work to the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency
Ensure production schedules are met in line with customer requirements and overall business demands
Monitor and manage labour, materials and resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations
Enforce all health & safety, quality and standard operating procedures consistently
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, proposing solutions and supporting implementation
Maintain a clean, structured and well-organised workshop environment at all times
Set the standard through strong personal conduct, professionalism and leadership presence
Ensure output remains consistently high quality while maintaining productivity targets
Accurately record daily job activity using internal systems
Handle people management matters with professionalism, fairness and attention to detailAbout You

Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor / Production Supervisor / Team Leader within a similar industry
Demonstrable experience managing teams of at least 15 people
Strong working knowledge of QHSE legislation and best practice
Confident managing resources, workloads and competing priorities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
Highly organised with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Comfortable using MS Office, particularly Excel
