Job Specification: We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Mild Steel Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel, reading fabrication drawings, and delivering high-quality welded assemblies. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to produce strong, clean, and accurate welds. Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols to determine specifications and materials required. Set up welding equipment, including voltage, wire feed, and shielding gas settings. Inspect and measure finished components using gauges and measuring tools to ensure conformance to tolerances. Carry out grinding, fettling, or minor fabrication as needed to complete parts. Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area and tools. Report any defects, equipment faults, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
