With over 100years in operation - the company do both full wagon new builds, conversions and repair of oldfreight stock.Position Summary: Undertaking the role of a Welder - working in teams to fabricate and weldtogether large rail wagons for a large ongoing order.This includes:* MIG Welding of Mild and Carbon Steel* Basic fabrication and production welding - freight wagons for the rail industry* Basic fitting when requiredRequirements:* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings* Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship* Strong teamwork and communication skills* Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial* Prior experience in the rail industry is an advantage
