As a qualified electrician you will have an important role within the business to stay professional throughout your contract delivering to the highest standard ensuring Safety, Health and Environmental regulations are followed. Job Description - Welding different materials (carbon & stainless steel & aluminium) - Welding using different welding processes i.e., Manual Metal Arc, Metal Active Gas, Metal Inert Gas, Automatic & Semi-Automatic Machine Welding (Submerged – Arc & KAT) & Resistance Welding (Stud Welding) - Welding butts and fillets to a high standard - Main process – FCAW / MAG – using ceramic tiles Requirements - Qualifications & Compliance: Holds a full Engineering Modern Apprenticeship, trade papers. - Flux core arc welding experience - Knowledge and experience in Welding and use of associated equipment - Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height - Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, working at height etc - Background in marine, Oil and Gas, major construction / manufacturing environment Benefits - Build your portfolio by working on advanced defence project - Provide security for our country and allies for decades to come - Permanent opportunities with leader in the defence and security sector Next steps - If interested in finding out more information regarding the role, please click apply and one of the team members will be in touch to discuss the role further
