**Welder/Fabricator – Factory Based**
Location: Huddersfield
Rate: £16.50-£17.50p/h

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am- 4:15pm, 37 hours p/w

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team, working on a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to meet industry standards. The role will involve welding on a wide range of materials and pipe sizes in a factory-based environment, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding to ASME IX and ISO3834 requirements.
  • Plating and welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (3mm to 40mm thick plate).
  • Pipe welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (½” to 12” pipe SCH10 to SCH80).
  • Mig – Tig – Flux Core
  • Oxy/Acetylene and Plasma cutting
  • Operation of JIB cranes and overhead cranes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Proficiency in welding Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex.
  • Ability to operate welding processes such as GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW in 1G and 6G positions.
  • Experience with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting.
  • Weld Test on site required
