Rapidly growing business looking for additional Fabricator Welders to support a number of contracts\n\nPosition Summary:\nUndertaking the role of a Fabricator Welder - working solo and in small teams to fabricate and weld components and wider repairs as part of overhaul and smash repair projects.\n\nThis includes:\n* Working from Engineering drawings to fabricate components in the Workshop\n* Welding - All positions (Vertical up / Overhead) - MIG and TIG\n* Working with both Aluminium and Mild Steel\n* Use of fabrication hand and power tools - including use of Oxy-Acetylene to heat\nmaterial for manipulation\n* Working from a WPS\n* Basic stripping / fitting when required to access areas requiring fabrication / weld repairs\n* Site Work - working in various locations and Depots around the UK\n\nRequirements:\n* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings\n* Ability to Weld in both MIG and TIG in All Positions\n* Ability and willingness to work onsite and away from home\n* Flexible and happy to travel for site work when required\n* Strong teamwork and communication skills\n* Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial\n* Prior experience in the rail industry is an advantage but not required\n* Full UK Driving Licence\n\nProcess:\nA weld test is required to be considered for the role.
