Are you an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator looking to work on high-quality, safety-critical components within a stable and supportive environment?

We're recruiting for a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing business in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of bespoke seating products for the automotive sector, where precision and craftsmanship are key.

What you'll be doing:

Fabricating and welding a range of seating products and accessories
Working primarily with tubular steel to produce high-quality assemblies
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Operating a variety of workshop machinery including saws, press brakes, tube benders, and drill presses
Carrying out in-process quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
Assisting with general maintenance of machinery and equipment
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environmentWhat we're looking for:

Minimum 3 years' experience in MIG welding
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Experience within fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
City & Guilds Level 2 in Welding & Fabrication or equivalent (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good level of written and spoken English
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat's in it for you:

£15.00-£17.00 an hour (depending on experience)
39-hour working week with an early finish on Fridays
