An engineering company located on the outskirts of Colchester are recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join their growing team.

This will be paying between £14 - £17 per hour, depending on experience. This will lead to a permanent position after the successful 3-month probation period.

What does the role involve?

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be required to MIG weld structural steel, balcony frames, acoustic enclosures, railings plus much more Plate fitting with the thickness of welds between 15 - 20mm Reading from technical drawings Assisting with general workshop duties as required Working closely with the fabrication team & project managers to hit deadlines Candidate requirements:

NVQ, Diploma or Apprenticeship in Welding & Fabrication needed Own transport needed due to the location of the company Ability to be able to read from technical drawings Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and good problem solving skills required Company benefits:
