Welder/Fabricator
for our client based in Pershore. Hours of work are: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday/ 7am-12pm Friday Pay rate: £14 - £15 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent Your duties as a Welder/Fabricator will include: Manufacture a wide range of steel and aluminium fabrications. Perform
MIG welding
on structural and tubular steel assemblies. Carry out fitting and assembly work where required Work independently from engineering drawings. Use workshop equipment such as:
Guillotines Press-brakes Metal cutting tools Saws and other fabrication machinery
Follow good workshop practices and contribute to a safe working environment. To be successful in the role of Welder/Fabricator, you will need: Strong MIG welding ability. Competent in reading and working from technical drawings. Good general workshop knowledge and practices. Experience in steel fabrication or engineering service/maintenance. TIG welding ability (advantage but not essential). Health & Safety awareness in an engineering workshop setting. Ability to work with steel and aluminium materials confidently.
