Welder Fabricator include: Operating Welding Equipment:
Carrying out MIG, TIG and arc welding to join metal components Reading Engineering Drawings:
Interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings to determine welding requirements Fabrication Work:
Fabricating, assembling and repairing metal components and structures Quality Inspection:
Inspecting completed welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards Material Preparation:
Using hand tools and grinding equipment to prepare materials for welding Equipment Maintenance:
Carrying out routine maintenance and checks on welding equipment CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Engineering Drawings:
Proven ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings Welding Techniques:
Experience with MIG and TIG welding processes Fabrication Equipment:
Ability to operate welding and fabrication machinery safely Hand Tools:
Confident use of hand tools and measuring equipment Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy when working to specifications and deadlines Heavy Steel Fabrication:
