Position: Welder Fitter / Fabricator x1
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:15 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 11:30 am
PAYE Pay Rates:
First 12 Weeks:
Basic: £18.09 (£20.72 incl. holiday)
Overtime: £27.13 (£31.07 incl. holiday)
Sundays: £36.17 (£41.43 incl. holiday)
After 12 Weeks:
Basic: £18.64 (£21.35 incl. holiday)
Overtime: £27.95 (£32.02 incl. holiday)
Sundays: £37.27 (£42.69 incl. holiday)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician - Welder Fitter / Fabricator to join our team, manufacturing Bellows and Gimbals from raw materials through to final assembly for delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture and assemble Bellows and Gimbals using various processes and tools.
Operate hand tools and machinery including lathes for integral and standard turning.
Perform welding processes such as Tig, Electron Beam, Aluminium, and Trent Resistance Welding.
Conduct brazing, seam welding, and RR assembly tasks.
Carry out product testing, NDT, and X-Ray inspections.
Ensure quality and performance of all work within your declared capabilities.
Participate in 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Contribute to 8D problem-solving investigations as required.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow SOPs for aerospace manufacturing.
Competent in working to tight tolerances and achieving certification ("stamp") to approve completed work.
Proficient in reading assembly drawings and setting up Production Acceptance Tests.
Strong team player with effective problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, diligence, and commitment to producing high-quality aerospace components.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK adhering to ITAR restrictions
