Hill McGlynn is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing building services contractor for an experienced Ventilation Engineer to join their team covering London and the Home Counties. Salary & Package
- £42,000 - £48,000 basic (dependent on experience and qualifications) - OTE £65,000 - £75,000 with overtime and bonuses - Travel time paid on any travel over 1 hour per day - Regular overtime opportunities to significantly boost earnings - Company van, fuel card, phone, and uniform provided - 28 days paid holiday - Company pension scheme - Full-time, permanent position
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of ventilation systems across commercial sites throughout London and the Home Counties, with a strong focus on kitchen extract and supply systems.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the M&E sector - Experience leading on kitchen extract and supply fan replacements - Ability to carry out small ductwork modifications and installations - Experience installing and replacing kitchen supply and extract fans - Electrical knowledge and experience including: - Wiring replacement fans - Working with inverters - Working on kitchen interlock systems - Ability to produce clear and detailed remedial and repair reports - Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team - Previous experience working within commercial environments - Participation in a 1-in-4 call-out rota - Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
