12-month contract.

£20.00 per hour (including holiday pay), PAYE contract paid overtime (£35,000 per annum).

Flexible start and finish times.

As a Vehicle Technician you will be working within an automotive / vehicle testing environment.

You will be working within a small friendly team of engineers and technicians, so we are looking for a candidate that will enjoy a hands-on automotive workshop technician role in a professional, state-of-the-art automotive engineering facility.

This Vehicle Technician job will involve: Supporting Engineers on vehicle research and development test projects.

Rework on vehicles.

Fabrication.

Preparing and setting up vehicles for R&D testing.

Post-test de-rigging of vehicles.

Using computer systems to input test data and other technical information.

This Vehicle Technician job will suit: A candidate with previous experience of working within a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Fitter or Automotive Technician, or Workshop Technician type of role.

Be able to competently use computer systems.

You are likely to hold a relevant qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ or similar) in motor vehicle engineering or a similar engineering or automotive discipline.

Experience in lieu of a qualification is also fine.

A full UK driving licence is required.
