Vehicle Technician Required in New Southgate

Our client, a reputable Independent Garage in North London, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their Workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals looking to develop their career within a well-established, stable environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will work in a modern, busy workshop, providing high-quality vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing.

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary ranging from £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience

Potential to develop MOT expertise, including Class 7 testing
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm, with alternating Saturdays, 8:30am to 1:00pm.

Duties:

Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in line with manufacturer standards
Maintain accurate and detailed repair documentation
Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Operate within a 13-bay workshop utilising modern diagnostic and repair equipment
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard, and in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 qualification as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent
MOT licence is highly desirable but not essential
At least 5 years of practical experience within a busy repair environment as a Vehicle Technician
Reliable with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic
Ability to work within scheduled hours, including alternate Saturdays
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
