We are a small, friendly team looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to support our continued growth. This role offers genuine opportunities for career progression as the business expands.
The Role:
You will work on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, carrying out repairs, diagnostics, and servicing. Unlike many dealerships, we focus on repairing rather than replacing wherever possible, including engine rebuilds and cost-effective solutions for our customers.
This is a varied role that provides excellent opportunities to develop your skills and avoid repetitive work. Ongoing training and development will be provided where needed.
You will be based in a fully equipped workshop using modern diagnostic equipment and specialist tools, working within a relaxed and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out servicing and repairs on customer and sales vehicles
* Perform vehicle inspections and identify faults
* Complete Vehicle Health Checks
* Conduct road tests for diagnostics and quality checks
* Communicate effectively with the service team and customers
* Obtain authorisation for any additional work required
About You:
* Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills with colleagues and customers
* Passionate about the motor trade and continuous development

The Package:
* Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
* Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:15 (no weekends)
* Company pension scheme

* Conveniently located in Chorley with good local transport links
