HGV Vehicle Technician Late Shift

M4 Specialist are currently recruiting three experienced HGV Vehicle Technicians on behalf of our client based in Dunstable.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidates, working a late shift from 14:30 to 00:00, Monday to Friday, with Saturday overtime available.

Pay Rate:
Up to £22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out fast and accurate fault diagnosis using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Select and apply correct repair methods to ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
• Perform maintenance and repair work independently on HGVs and associated components.
• Conduct a range of inspections, including MOT preparation and tachograph checks.
• Complete final quality checks on all work undertaken.

Candidate Requirements:

• Completion of a recognised secondary vocational or technical qualification.
• Broad technical knowledge of vehicle systems, ideally across a wide range of products.
• Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of HGVs, components, and associated vehicles.
• Up-to-date knowledge of developments within the automotive industry.
• Must provide own toolkit.
• Hold a valid UK driving license (HGV license preferred but not essential).
