*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard, in line with current regulations and company procedures.

MOT testing experience would be advantageous; however, it is not essential, as training and support can be provided for the right candidate

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

Advise customers (where required) on repairs and maintenance requirements

Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards

Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment

Follow health and safety procedures at all times

*Experience*

* Fully qualified Vehicle Technician in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair)

Not essential, Valid and current MOT Tester certification (DVSA approved)

Proven experience working in a busy automotive workshop

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and organisational skills

*Desirable*

Experience with diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle systems

Hybrid/EV qualification (advantageous but not essential)

Experience working within an independent garage or dealership environment
