We are recruiting for a Vehicle Driver across our Essex sites
Hours : Part-time, 25 hours split shifts (07:0010:00 & 16:0018:00)
The SHARP Programme is a community-based rehabilitation service supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. We offer an abstinence-based, group therapy model designed to empower and support change. Services run across our Braintree and Wickford
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Vehicle Driver to assist with the daily transportation of clients to and from the programme. This role plays a vital part in ensuring consistent attendance and providing a stable routine for those in recovery.
Role Key Responsibilities
- A valid drivers license and your own vehicle, insured to carry passengers for business purposes.
- A commitment to driving safely and adhering to the Highway Code.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and interact effectively with clients, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to continuous personal development.
- Flexibility and a willingness to support the wider objectives of the SHARP programme.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with the skills knowledge and experience below
- A clean, relevant driving licence
- An awareness of health & safety issues and how to respond to any concerns during a trip
- Knowledge of local roads and geography to minimise journey times
- Ability to work on both own initiative and as part of a team
- Able to work with the minimal of supervision
- Reliable and flexible
- Good communication skills
- An ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to understand and maintain professional boundaries.
