About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a busy paint and bodyshop in the Heathrow area who are looking for an experienced Valeter to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands on role focused on preparing and presenting vehicles to a high standard before they are returned to customers.
The role would suit someone with previous experience in vehicle valeting, car detailing or vehicle preparation who takes pride in their work. Candidates who have worked as a Car Valeter, Vehicle Cleaner, Automotive Detailer, Bodyshop Prep Assistant or Vehicle Preparation Operative may have very transferable skills.
What You’ll Do • Clean and valet vehicles inside and out to a high professional standard • Prepare vehicles following paint or bodyshop repairs • Carry out interior cleaning including vacuuming, wiping surfaces and polishing trims • Wash, dry and polish vehicle exteriors • Check vehicles are presentable and ready for customer collection • Maintain a clean and organised valeting area • Work closely with bodyshop technicians and workshop staff
What We’re Looking For • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle valeting, car detailing or a similar automotive role • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop or bodyshop environment • Reliable and hardworking with a good team attitude • Experience working in automotive environments such as dealerships, garages, accident repair centres or vehicle preparation centres is beneficial
