Utilities Maintenance Engineer (Boilers & Steam)Manchester £35.00 - £40.00 p/h Outside IR35Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3pmWe're recruiting a Utilities Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced FMCG site in Manchester. Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll deliver both reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring all utilities support efficient production.Key Duties: First response for site utilities (steam, boilers, air, water, effluent, BMS, HVAC)Carry out maintenance, fault finding, and repairsMaintain utility performance to meet production needsEnsure H&S, environmental, and statutory complianceSupport installations, inspections, and emergency call-outs Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or recognised apprenticeshipBOAS or equivalent steam/boiler certificationExperience with boilers and steam systemsStrong safety focus and problem-solving skillsAbility to read engineering drawings ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
