About the Role - Fully Remote We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a major public-sector digital transformation programme. This role requires someone with a strong background in Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and proven experience in AI-related projects . You will play a key role in shaping user-centred services by delivering actionable insights that inform design and product decisions.
Key Responsibilities Plan, conduct, and analyse user research using a variety of methods.
Deliver research aligned with GDS Service Standards across all phases.
Work on data-focused, AI-driven, or digital transformation projects .
Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights for multidisciplinary teams.
Engage stakeholders effectively and communicate findings through compelling storytelling.
Ensure ethical research practices and compliance with data security standards.
Essential Skills & Experience Extensive experience in user research within government or public-sector projects.
Strong understanding of GDS standards and Agile delivery.
Ability to work collaboratively with designers, developers, and product managers.
Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Clearance: BPSS required; SC highly desirable.
Duration: 612 months contract.
