Our client in Blackburn is looking to recruit an Upholsterer for a permanent role out of their manufacturing and distribution site.

The role will involve: Upholstering various furniture frames including sofa beds, chairs, sofas and beds Using materials including leathers, velvets and high-end fabrics Checking work orders to determine amount of material needed Following drawings and designs Deep buttoning, piping and finishing Measure and cutting of materials The working times and pay: Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30 and 07:30-12:30 on Fridays (Part-time can be considered) 39 hours per week after breaks £13.00 - £15.00 per hour dependent on experience, reviewed after 3 months 12 week temp to perm role Skills/Experience Needed: Previous upholstery experience with sofas and beds essential 2-3 years upholstery experience Worked in the same industry recently or within the last 3 years Ability to read designs, measure materials and cut where needed If you are interested in this role please apply through the advert with an updated CV.Please note CVs which are not up to date will be rejected.
