Transport Support Assistant

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a tight-knit team and playing a vital part in getting aircraft ready for take-off, before passengers even board. You will undertake in all areas of the Business mainly based in our Transport Airside & Landside operations and Dispatch. You will need an eye for details as you will be required to and supervise the inflight catering screening process.
Rate of Pay: £14.76 per hour, plus flat rate overtime
Shift: 5 On 3 Off, rolling roster
Hours: Various start times, you must be able to work all shifts on rotation
Start Times: Between 3.00 am and 10.00 am and finish between 12.30 pm and 19.30
Mandatory: UK Manual driving license

Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading catering equipment, carts, and supplies to strict timeframes.
Preparing trolleys and orders accurately for outbound flights.
Working airside around aircraft while following aviation safety and security rules.
Manual handling of equipment in a physically active role.
Supporting drivers and operations teams to meet on-time departures.
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of loading areas.
Knowledge and Skills
Proven experience of working with customers.
The ability to work calmly under pressure.
Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
