Job Description: We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Transport Manager to our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our transport operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for overseeing the resourcing, organising and supervising of the transport activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Inspire a Large Team - You'll manage a team of around 40 people, including drivers and transport office staff. You'll set the tone for a positive, collaborative working environment where everyone feels supported and motivated to do their best.
Own the Daily Transport Operation - From planning and resourcing to execution and problem-solving, you'll oversee all aspects of the transport function. You'll ensure that deliveries are made on time, vehicles are utilised efficiently, and any issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
