Trainee Steel Processor

No industry experience is required and full training is provided. If you are interested in a career in steel processing, this will be perfect for you! You will be trained on a number of different machines, processes and duties, and they are looking to employ you for the long-term - career progression is both possible and encouraged.
Tasks and duties you will initially train for will include:
Operating overhead cranes to move different types of steel
Banding, packing and palletising stock on the back end of the machines
Loading / unloading vehicles
Assisting with loading / offloading machine lines
Training up to run a machine/line - Blanking Lines, Slitting Lines and moreA background in the steel industry is not required, however ideally you will have some experience in manufacturing / engineering.
This position is working a rotating 2-shift pattern, so you must be able to work both days and nights, rotating weekly;
Week 1 - 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday
Week 2 - 6:00pm - 4:00am Monday to Thursday
