Job Title: Trainee Quality Inspector

Rate of Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour

Overview
Are you an experienced machinist or engineer looking to transition into the Quality team? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
This role offers the chance to join a rapidly expanding aerospace engineering business that delivers complex, safety-critical manufacturing solutions to highly regulated industries. You will play a key part in supporting the supply of high-quality components to elite, performance-driven customers.
As a result of continued growth, our client is seeking a Trainee Quality Inspector to work closely with the Quality team. This role would suit someone with a background in precision engineering who is looking to move into an inspection-focused position and build long-term career prospects.

What will you be doing?
* Inspection of components using manual measuring equipment
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Recording inspection results and reporting any non-conformances
* Supporting quality and continuous improvement activities
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience within a precision engineering environment
* Confident use of manual measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, and gauges
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Willingness to learn and develop inspection skills
