Trainee Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday working 08:00 - 17:00.

Due to expansion my client an established manufacturing business within Injection Moulding are looking for a Trainee Engineer to join their team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineer who has completed a T Level / NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and is eager to begin a long-term career in manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity and the successful candidate will be supported through a formal Engineering Apprenticeship via day release at college, whilst gaining hands-on experience and developing technical knowledge and professional skills.

The Role

Working on reactive and planned maintenance on injection moulding machines. Site maintenance across the two sites in Corby Assisting in the tool room when required Support production teams to ensure quality and efficiency targets are met Learn about tooling, materials, and manufacturing processes Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities Maintain accurate records and follow health & safety procedures at all times Opportunity for some overseas travel to the company overseas factories

What we are looking for

T Level qualification in Engineering (or equivalent recent qualification) Strong interest in manufacturing and engineering processes Willingness to learn and develop through an apprenticeship programme Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
