Trainee Electroplater

New Today

Shorterm Group is currently working with a leading aerospace component MRO centre based in Hayes, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic engineer eager to develop their skills in electroplating.
What is Electroplating? Electroplating is a surface treatment process used to restore, protect, or enhance components. At its core, electroplating uses an electrical current to deposit a thin layer of metal (like chromium, nickel, or cadmium) onto a component. It's a mix of hands-on engineering, chemistry, and precision workmanship, and it plays a crucial role in keeping aircraft components safe and airworthy.
This role is ideal for someone with some experience in an engineering environment and a strong willingness to learn a specialised trade. You'll benefit from a fully supported training programme, working alongside experienced electroplaters who will guide your development, in a huge aerospace company.
