Shifts: 3 Shifts
Salary: c£50,000 (including shift allowance)

Reporting To: Tool Room Shift Coordinator
Introduction
Working a 3-shift pattern in a busy, well equipped toolroom, supporting plastic injection mould tooling in a high volume automotive component production. Although part of a close team, you will be expected to work independently and to deadlines, sometimes under pressure. You should be a creative thinker and good at problem solving. Strong communication skills are required to be able to report effectively.
Responsibilities in the Toolroom
* Working with minimal supervision, reviewed by the Toolroom Supervisor your role will include:
* Servicing and maintenance of injection mould tools to TPM schedules.
* Repairs to injection mould tools following breakdown.
* Supporting production at the moulding press with repairs / maintenance as required.
* Carrying out minor modifications and improvements to existing injection mould tools
Toolmaker Tasks
* It is expected that you can comply with all health and safety legislation, minimising risk and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a
* safe manner.
* Carry out injection mould tool service by following set procedures.
* Have knowledge of all electrical, hydraulic and water systems on injection mould tools.
