As a Toolroom Assistant / Engineer, you will support the maintenance, repair, and development of injection mould tooling within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on engineering tasks with continuous improvement initiatives and offers progression into more advanced tooling responsibilities. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on injection mould tools. Support and execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules. Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, and assist in resolving issues with minimal downtime. Inspect long-running tools in press, clean and grease mould faces, and report potential issues. Remove plating and clean mould faces as required. Complete tooling and maintenance reports, including entries into IFS. Operate forklift trucks and lifting equipment (training provided if necessary).
