TIG Welder/Fabricator\n\n6–9-month contract, £14p/hr-£16p/hr DOE, Days, 39hrs per week \n\nLEEDS\n\nI am looking for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join my client, a busy Manufacturing company based in Leeds.\n\nAs the TIG Welder/Fabricator you will:\n\n-Perform TIG Welding techniques on various metals, inc sheet metal, ensuring compliance with safety standards and job specifications\n\n-Read and work to engineering drawings to produce high quality AHU’s and components\n\n-Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble various units\n\n-Work to a high-quality standard\n\n-Produce parts in Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel\n\n-Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated parts\n\n-Maintain a clean and organised work environment, always adhering to health and safety regulations\n\nTo be considered for the role, the key skills that you will require are:\n\n-2 years’ experience TIG Welding\n\n-MIG Welding experience would be beneficial\n\n-Sheet Metal experience and knowledge\n\n-Ability to read and understand and work from technical drawings\n\n-Experienced in using machinery such as Press Brakes, Guillotines and Grinders\n\n-Knowledge of Fabricating and Welding of Mild Steel, Aluminium and stainless steel\n\n-Able to work independently\n\n-Good work ethic and keen to learn new skills\n\n-Excellent attention to detail\n\nYou will be required to work a core of 39hrs, 7am to 5.15pm from Mon to Thurs. The Pay Rate for the role is Dependant on experience, initially starting between up to £15p/hr to £16p/hr. Overtime paid at time + ½.
