The Role - Test Systems Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Test Equipment Technician to join a rapidly growing aerospace business with some incredible new projects coming through.

As a result, the Test Systems Engineering function will need to grow opening an excellent opportunity for someone to join the team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery of bespoke Test Equipment to validate mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and power distribution components.

Duties - Test Systems Technician

Commission new Test Equipment in line with technical requirements Support mechanical and electrical assembly tasks Lead integration and formal verification testing Facilitate customer validation and correlation testing activities Annotate part and assembly drawings to reflect ‘as built’ condition Independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems Support calibration procedure development and facility readiness

Background - Test Systems Technician

HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship-trained background (advantageous) Experience with Test Systems or Test Equipment commissioning Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
