Opportunity To professionally sell, manage, and develop the business potential of the Dechra Veterinary Products pharmaceutical portfolio to the veterinary profession, focusing on a defined group of veterinary customers. Main Responsibilities
Champion our range of Companion Animal Products (CAP) to veterinary practices within the defined sales territory. Achieve territory sales objectives—including quarterly and yearly targets—respecting product mix, prices and promotional offers. Use data analytics and strategic targeting with Salesforce CRM and supporting sales data. Manage a diary of business appointments and travel to maximise productivity. Deliver on sales campaigns in line with business needs. Build, develop and maintain relationships with clients through appropriate business solutions and proven sales methods. Action inbound customer and/or sales enquiries. Conduct competitor analysis—monitoring and reporting on competitor activities as required. Attend and present at required customer meetings, congresses and events to educate customers and promote Dechra’s product range and available support.
Ideal Candidate We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have or are:
Previous B2B sales experience. Competent in negotiation and influencing. Motivated, enthusiastic and results‑driven. Knowledge or keen interest in the veterinary sector. Significant travel within the defined territory, including occasional overnight stays. Travel required for sales meetings, congresses and additional events with overnight stays as necessary. Full UK driving licence. Good knowledge of the geographical territory. Previous experience in consumer health, pharmaceutical or veterinary sales. MRCVS or RVN qualification.
