I am supporting a well-regarded, multi-site education organisation in North London to appoint an experienced HR Advisor on a short-term fixed term basis. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting managers and staff across the full employee lifecycle. You'll provide practical HR guidance, manage a varied ER caseload, and ensure day-to-day HR operations run smoothly and compliantly. What you'll be doing Acting as first point of contact for HR queries (mailbox/triage)
Supporting managers with ER matters (absence, performance, conduct, probation, family leave)
Drafting HR documentation (letters, contracts, variations) and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with occupational health and external providers where needed
Supporting HR data, reporting and HR systems administration
What we're looking for Solid HR advisory experience in a busy environment
Confident handling ER and providing pragmatic guidance to managers
Highly organised, detail-focused and able to juggle competing priorities
CIPD qualified (or working towards) is desirable
