What's my mission?
Working as an Account Manager, no one day will be the same, but some of the main duties as the primary contact for our key customers will be:
Responding to existing customer queries, and managing their accounts effectively
Managing our existing portfolio and developing key accounts as well as the ability to attract new business opportunities to develop your portfolio and pipeline.
Managing existing accounts for private & public sector organisations.
You will be responsible for a large number Accounts and will be confident at upselling, cross-selling & developing these accounts to ensure maximum profitability.
Building lasting relationships with Key stakeholders
Understanding client needs and requirements and road mapping future solutions.
Attending weekly sales meeting
Designing and delivering complex solutions
Negotiating new contract and payment terms
Building, managing, and forecasting a solid 3-month pipeline
Meeting sales targets
Liaising with our Service Delivery team to ensure that the customer requirements are fulfilled.
Who will I be working with?
You will be joining a fantastic people focused, values led business, who has just achieved accreditation from Best Companies for 3 years running, Employee Engagement is very important to us. Our business is growing rapidly and 2026 will be very busy. There has never been a better time to join us!
You will be working with a small and friendly Sales & Marketing team, working closely with our Account Managers across the group and liaising with Service Delivery engineers across our group.
You will be liaising with our customers, predominantly via the phone, but will also be confident with email communication and face to face communication.
What skills & Experience Will I Need?
As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers daily, then your communication and customer service skills must be very strong. A good work ethic and level of professionalism and a desire to develop your skills will also be required. You will pride yourself in delivering outstanding customer service and developing long term business relationships with all of our customers. You will have well developed negotiation and persuasion skills.
You will need to have previous experience of B2B selling within either the Private or Public Sector to be considered for this position.
You will, of course be passionate about working within the Telecoms and IT sector and a good knowledge of relevant technologies; VOIP, Unified Communications, Cloud Services will stand you in good stead.
You will be happy to work autonomously and are organised when managing your own workload.
You will be required to attend our customers premises where necessary, and so you will ideally need to have a full UK driving license.
Problem solving skills with the ability to remain composed when working under pressure.
You are able to instantaneously build rapport and develop and maintain relationships both with clients and internally with the Telappliant Team.
Due to the nature of this role there will be a requirement to undertake a full DBS check and credit referencing checking.
