The Cleaning Technician is responsible for the cleaning & maintenance (reactive and preventative) on SF and LF Roadside Assets

What you'll be doing...

  • Carry out both planned and reactive cleaning and maintenance to JCDecaux assets, including conditional Inspections and refurbishments.

  • Promptly and accurately report any damage to the company assets and repair within agreed SLA.

  • Ensure vehicle is correctly stocked with tools and equipment for the tasks and kept in good working order.

  • Produce a high-quality standard of work on each asset attended.

  • Report any hazards to site area following the correct procedure.

 

Health and Safety

    • Work to agreed SLAs and defined quality standards

    • Work within the safe systems of work

    • Work within Health & Safety guidelines ensuring that any accidents, hazards and near misses are reported immediately

    • Ensure all operational practices comply with current Health and Safety regulations.

    • Undertake reasonable lifting duties.

    • Comfortable with high level working - working at heights within safety guidelines.

    • Ensure that the correct PPE is worn when necessary.

 

Other

    • Develop a good understanding of the industry.

    • Able to work with different systems.

    • Adhere to stores booking in/out and stock management procedures.

    • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a company vehicle and ensure all relevant documentation is kept updated and filed safely.

    • Work as part of the on-call team (on a rota basis), being fully flexible with working hours which could include evenings, Weekends and Bank Holidays

    • Thrive on being a team player- supporting colleagues, sharing information and best practises

    • Must be an adaptable committed and reliable.

 

Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience directly involved in trouble shooting, preferably within field repair of electro mechanical systems and equipment

    • Basic electrical/pneumatic understanding/competency

 

Qualifications

GSSE Maths, English or equivalent.
