The Opportunity
Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the technology sector for a Technical Warehouse Operative to support a short-term project.
This is a hands-on role based within a warehouse environment, working closely with the Head of Technology to batch process faulty routers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring devices are correctly processed, updated, and prepared for restocking.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Processing Duties
Batch processing faulty routers using a basic computer system
Following simple instructions to log, update, or reset devices
Ensuring accuracy when inputting data and handling equipment
Identifying and separating units based on processing outcomes
Warehouse & Operational Duties
Packaging processed routers ready for restocking
Maintaining an organised and tidy workspace
Supporting general warehouse tasks as required
Handling stock with care and attention to detail
Requirements
Essential
Basic computer literacy (comfortable using systems and data entry)
Good attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks
Reliable and able to commit to the full 2-week assignment
Desirable
Previous warehouse or logistics experience
Experience working with stock processing or returns
