Do you have expertise with Windows Desktop Support within financial environments?
You could be progressing your career at a hugely profitable Hedge Fund as they establish a new office in Jersey.
As a Technical Support Engineer you will ensure that all Windows 11 desktops have current, validated packages available for deployment, maintain a robust patching and installation framework, write PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline desktop operations and ensure the observability platform.
You'll be working in a fast paced front office trading environment, supporting and communicating with non-technical stakeholders, including traders and c-suite management to ensure optimal systems and no downtime.
Location:
You'll be based in fantastic new offices in St Helier, Jersey on a full time basis, Monday to Friday.
About you:
You are degree educated in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline, having achieved a 2.1 or above, MSc advantageous
You have strong end-user desktop support experience within a finance environment / trading floor with zero-tolerance for downtime
You have an advanced knowledge of Windows and Microsoft stack e.g. O365, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting for automation
You have experience of building and managing software packaging and patching frameworks at scale
You have advanced communication skills
