A public body is seeking a Technical/Solutions Architect to lead a project to define and deliver next-generation Case Management tools for its Investigations, Enforcement, and Legal Services directorates. This is a critical role where you will own the technical and data architecture from discovery through to implementation. You will be instrumental in identifying and integrating innovative solutions, including AI-driven tools, to enhance our investigative and litigation capabilities. What you'll do: Develop and document the solution and data architecture for our new Case Management system. Define technical and non-functional requirements, ensuring they align with our strategic IT principles and the specific needs of a legal/investigative environment. Lead market research and evaluate supplier proposals, with a keen eye on AI-enabled capabilities. Provide technical assurance and oversight throughout the procurement and delivery phases, ensuring alignment with security, governance, and user needs. What you'll bring: Essential experience delivering technical architecture within the investigation, enforcement, or litigation sectors. Deep expertise in data architecture, including the practical application of AI, data analysis, and predictive analytics in a legal context. Proven ability to work with user stories to ensure technical solutions meet business and user expectations. Strong knowledge of technical assurance, cybersecurity, and data governance within a government or regulatory framework.
