Mon to Thurs: 8 to 5pm; Fri 8 to 4pmJob Purpose:Reporting to the Technical Manager, the purpose of the role is to ensure a robust FSQMS is in place which is compliant with legislation and customer Codes of Practice that ensures Dairygold Food Ingredients UK delivers a quality, authentic, legal and safe food product.Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Maintain the Food Safety Quality Management System to meet BRC and customer standardsComplete GAP analysis for any new requirements, non-conformances/observations/recommendations and update and communicate changesDocument control all HACCP documentation and meetingsMaintain internal audit schedule, support audits, administer and ensure completion with trackerCoordinate shelf-life trials where required with support from QA TeamSupport the TM in product and environmental samplingMaintain Traceability schedule in line with BRC / customer requirementsManage documentation of site risk assessments and ensure they are reviewed as requiredDocument control all documentation relating to TACCP and VACCPManage accreditation, specification and compliance information required for all suppliers to DFI Leeds & maintain KPIs, risk assessments and specifications as requiredReview responses to category 1 & 2 complaints & ensure response meets consumer, customer and business requirementsProvide support to QA and TM for Complaint and C of A queries and resolutionAccurately maintain records of Leeds customer specifications ensuring that customer and internal useManage review and re-issue of finished products in line with schedule requirements (every 3 years)Organise finished product specifications on the systemDrive culture of continuous improvementGenerate Technical reports on time; develop reporting methods for internal / Ireland useMaintain customer KPI systems, ensuring they are completedCollate and trend data from Audits, Non-Conformance, Pest Control and Taste Panels for business reportingManage Technical training of colleagues to ensure complianceWho are we looking for?Experience of the food industry essential & within Dairy / Cheese manufacture advantageousDemonstrable experience or qualifications within the Food industrySignificant experience of FS and QMS including HACCP, internal audit and complaint handlingExperience of managing customer expectationsTeam player, who communicates effectivelyUnderstanding how business operates and their roleDelivers results and can be counted on to get things doneSets, manages and tracks KPIs and has contingenciesDemonstrates excellent accuracy and attention to detailJBRP1_UKTJ
